Get a Library Card
Residents of, or property owners in, Webster County may obtain a library card with full access to all library services. Nonresidents of counties touching Webster County may obtain a Nonresident card with access to all services except downloadable digital content i.e. Hoopla or MOLib2Go (Libby).
What to Bring
To obtain a library card applicants 18 and older must present:
- Proof of identification: Photo ID
- Proof of address: Something other than the photo ID.
Applicants 5 to 17 must have a parent or guardian sign the application in the presence of library staff. The parent or guardian must have a Webster County Library card in good standing to assume responsibility on the card application of a child. The first card issued is free.
What If I Lose My Card?
If your card is lost a $2.00 replacement fee is charged. You must have your own library card with you to access library services.
Library cards are set to expire annually in order for the library to have current patron information. Keep your card and update your data with our staff when your card expires.
