Get a Library Card

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

To obtain a library card, applicants 18 and older must present:

  • Proof of identification: photo ID
  • Proof of address, other than photo ID

Applicants 5 to 17 must have a parent or guardian sign the application in the presence of library staff. The parent or guardian must have a Webster County Library card in good standing to assume responsibility on the card application of a child. The first card issued is free.

WHAT IF I LOSE MY CARD?

If your card is lost, a $2.00 replacement fee is charged. You must have your own library card with you to access library services.

Library cards are set to expire annually in order for the library to have current patron information. Keep your card and update your data with our staff when your card expires.
