The Marshfield Branch of the Webster County Library has several opportunities for adults to show their creative side through in person craft classes. The goal of the adult craft classes are to have fun, create something special, learn a new technique, and enjoy the process.

Adult Craft - Let's get crafty! Meets monthly. Registration is required. Adults 18+ only. Please visit the online calendar for registration.

Cover to Cover Adult Book Club - Meets monthly for a refreshing discussion of a novel with an occasional non-fiction title thrown in for fun. Adults 18+ only. No vacancy as of right now, please call 417-468-3335 to check if there is a vacancy.

Keep Calm & Carry Yarn - Join a group of like-minded knitters and crocheters for an hour of friendship and community. Macrame, needle point and cross stitch welcome! Bring your handiwork project to show off or get advice. Limited teaching is available. Learning supplies will be provided. Adults 18+ only. Registration is required. Please visit the online calendar for registration.

YOUTH

List of Youth Events

Children and teens can explore their artistic side with the many opportunities for imaginative craft classes, S.T.E.A.M., take and make crafts, and special presentations throughout the year at the Webster County Library.

If you enjoy board games, then games guild is for you! Recommended for ages 7+ only. Events occurs monthly. Registration is required. Please visit the online calendar for registration.


This is a family event for all ages. 
Join Ms. Leah every Monday at 10 am except on the second Monday of the month for an introduction into nature literacy, and the importance of being in nature. We will meet at the library instead of the park for a nature filled storytime and a nature themed craft, activity or movie. Each month we will focus on different natural events occurring in nature to explore and leave us feeling inspired by nature. 


Grades 1st - 12th can come get crafty with Ms. Leah monthly. Registration is required. Please visit the online calendar for registration.


Join Ms. Leah for Lego Super Saturday to create, build and invent amazing Lego sculptures to display in the library. Ages 4 and up are welcome! Event occurs monthly.


Join Ms. Leah every Wednesday at 10 am for stories, songs, and a craft perfect for kids up to 6 years old. 


Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math come alive with S.T.E.A.M. On! Grades 1st - 12th are welcome to participate monthly. Registration is required. Please visit the online calendar for registration.


Ages 13 - 17 are welcome to to come crafting at the library monthly! Registration is required. Please visit the online calendar for registration.


Bring your love of manga, art and food! Meet new friends who share in your love for drawing. We will be exploring Japanese food, culture and of course art. Grades 4th - 12th are welcome! This club is full. If you want to add your child to the wait list call us or inquire at the front desk.
